Introduced in 2007, the American Presidency $1 Coin Cover Series showcases the new Presidential $1 Coins. Sixth in the series is the 2008 John Quincy Adams $1 Coin Cover. This limited-edition cover – only 50,000 will be produced – features two John Quincy Adams $1 Coins from the first day of production, March 3, 2008. Each cover includes two $1 coins, one each from the United States Mints at Philadelphia and Denver, on a handsome display card with one of the four 42-cent Flags 24/7 stamps. Additionally, the cover features a portrait of our sixth President in front of an American flag. The postmark of May 15, 2008, Qunicy, MA, marks the day the John Quincy Adams $1 Coins were first released to the public.
