Lawrence Taylor was one of the most intimidating linebackers in NFL history. He was the only defensive player in NFL history to be consensus Player of Year (1986). Taylor led NY Giants to Super Bowl titles in 1986 and '90 seasons. He has played in a record 10 Pro Bowls (1981-90).
Lawrence Taylor retired after the 1993 season with 132 1/2 sacks. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999.
